This is an easy homemade pot pie.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup oleo
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup peas
  • 2 cup cubed chicken
  • 1 can biscuits

Directions:

In 10 inch skillet melt oleo, blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add broth and milk. Cook until thickened. Add chicken, onion, carrots, and peas and simmer. Arrange biscuits over mixture and place in 375 degree F oven and bake for 25 minutes.

Pecan Pie Recipe

7. 1 teaspoon vanilla

Take a bowl and mix together the corn syrup with sugar, salt, melted butter and vanilla. Add eggs to the above mix and stir the mix well. Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll flat bread out of the dough with a rolling pin. Place the rolled crust into your pie pan. You can use a baking tray if you do not have a pie tray.

After sticking the edges out well, pour the filling mix into the cup of the crust and drop all the roasted nuts. Bake this pie mix for 30 minutes at 350 degree F in a preheated oven. Cover the sides of the crust with a aluminum foil paper, so that the crust does not get over baked and burnt, and leave the filling to bake further for another 45 minutes. Stick in a knife to check if the filling is baked to perfection. Pecan pie feels special since it has a chewy nutty character.
